Djurgymnasiet ’s dog centre has been open since September 1, 2006. The dog centre has space for 35 to 50 dogs, which are divided into groups depending on their size. The dogs stay in cosy rooms, where each dog has its own place.
The reason why Djurgymnasiet started a dog day care centre was to increase the opportunity for the school’s students to have access to dogs during lessons. We have designed a nice, bright classroom at the dog centre, where our students will have scheduled lessons.
