This profile is for those interested in caring for sick animals. You will be able to study animal
anatomy and physiology and will also learn about various diseases and how they are treated.
You will also gain practical experience and training in certain elements of animal care in the school’s own clinic.
During your practical work experience at a veterinary clinic, you will have the opportunity in real life to put into practice all you have learned in school. We are the only animal care school to be able to offer you a total of ten weeks hands-on training at a veterinary clinic.
You will also study human psychology. Sick animals have worried owners who also need support and understanding.
Dogs are the most common patients seen at a small animal clinic. In the “Dogs” course you will gain useful knowledge and experience concerning canine races, behaviour, care and management.
This profile offers you good opportunities to work in the future as an animal care specialist or veterinary assistant.
